Programming

Useful toys

While not a programmer by training, I do a ton of programming for myself, for my work, and for clients. Much of it is unavailable as contract work, but some of it is posted below

Public Repositories

Any public repositories I have are available at https://bitbucket.org/UltraAyla - as of Aug 2011, I have no public repositories, but some of my work for UC Davis will be licensed as Creative Commons and made public on that page.

Legislative Analysis Scripts

I wrote a set of scripts to highlight the differences between versions of legislation (see more on the policy page). These scripts are free to download and modify - See license in the readme file. The readme contains everything you should need to begin the analysis, but you should know programming in general in order to run these scripts. The script is written in Perl. A newer version that brute force analyzes everything and which does not require external software (as mentioned in this Readme) has been written, but I have not yet packaged it for use by others.
